The types of personal data QLS will collect and use

QLS will use your personal data to manage the services provided by QLS. The personal data will only be collected when you apply online for QLS online membership or subscribe to the QLS Business Presenter and Training web site. The personal data collected will include:

Full name and contact information (email address, password, home and mobile telephone numbers).

Records of services you have obtained from QLS, how you use them, and the relevant technology used to access or manage them.

No details of credit or debit cards or bank accounts are collected by QLS as subcriptions are processed on the secure PayPal web site.

Providing your personal data

Where providing personal data is optional QLS will ask for your consent to process it. In all other cases you must provide your personal data so that QLS can process your applications for services (unless you are a customer and QLS already holds your details).

Monitoring of communications

Subject to applicable laws QLS will monitor and record your emails and other communications in relation to its dealings with you.

Using your personal data: the legal basis and purposes

QLS will process your personal data:

As necessary to perform your contracts with QLS for the relevant services.

As necessary for the legitimate interests of QLS.

As necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Based on your consent (e.g. to send you inspirational or training materials by email where you have given your consent).

You are free at any time to change your mind and withdraw your consent. The consequence may be that QLS can’t do certain things for you.

No data is shared with any third party.

Criteria used to determine retention periods

QLS will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to deal with your queries.

QLS will retain your personal data for as long as you might legally bring claims against it.

QLS will retain your personal data after termination of your services based on legal and regulatory requirements.

Your rights under applicable data protection law

Your rights are as follows (noting that these rights don’t apply in all circumstances and that data portability is only relevant from May 2018):

The right to have your personal data corrected if it’s inaccurate and to have incomplete personal data completed.
